It is very easy to write
the ‘perfect’ process but the difficult part is making
it simple, relevant, useful and for it to be used. The 'perfect' process
is usually created without understanding what happens on the ground
and so inevitably the people following the process develop their own
ways of making it happen. Key to the development of any process is
to understand what currently happens and what it needs to change to.
The development of the process is secondary to winning over the people
who will need to follow it as without them the process will be doomed
to failure.
It doesn’t help
to try to have a process for everything. A process should exist to
fix a problem or prevent problems arising and should benefit the company,
customers and suppliers.
Blue Moth can help you
develop effective processes for your business across a wide range
of business activity.
